Manahawkin Plaza covers over 130,000 square feet of retail-office shopping area. We renovated this plaza in phases and brought the occupancy from 30% to 95% after completion for this location. There were several alterations and façade renovations. As the upgrades went along, we were retained by many new tenants that were attracted to the new image to build out their tenant spaces. These included the At Home Recreation, AtlantiCare , Stockton College, Value City Furniture an individual dance studio, hair salon and other boutique tenants. We paid attention to properly lighting the plaza at night to accentuate the presence of this location. It was important to us that this plaza looked vibrant at night to help the retail business appear active and build-up the image of a local landmark to residents of the town.
